About

What is Everblaze?

We are a movement. We are a group of teens and young adults who are dedicated to serving and worshiping Jesus with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And we want to see that passion for worship spread and grow across our state, across our country, and all over the world.

We believe…

In the power of worship.

In the power of prayer.

In the power of the Holy Spirit.

That young people can change the world.

And we want to use our gifts and passions to set the world on fire for Christ.

Our Doctrine

We come from different denominations and spiritual experiences, but we all believe:

In God the Father, our Creator (Genesis 1:26-28).

In Jesus Christ, His Son, our Lord and Savior (John 3:16, Luke 2:11, 2 Timothy 1:10).

In the Holy Spirit, who lives inside those who have accepted Jesus and asked to receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:7).

In the absolute authority of the Holy Bible, which is the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

That God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one Triune Being– the Trinity (Matthew 28:19, John 17:20-23).

That we all are sinners, who have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and, therefore, are deserving of death (Romans 6:23).

That we are, without Christ, incapable of achieving our own salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9).

That Christ, out of His great love for us, chose to come and die in our place, liberating us from sin and death forever and providing us a way to the Father (Romans 6:23, 1 John 3:1).

That Christ will return again to judge the living and the dead (Acts 10:42, Matthew 25:31-32).

That all people have spirits and will be judged by faith and not by works (Ephesians 2:8).

That all who have not accepted Christ will be eternally condemned to Hell (Matthew 25:41).

That all who have accepted Christ will live eternally with Christ in Heaven (Matthew 5:12, 1 Peter 1:4).

That we are children of God (1 John 3:1).

That we have the promise of eternal life in Christ (John 3:15, John 17:2).

That God wants to have a personal relationship with each of us (John 10:27, John 17:24, Jeremiah 29:13).

That God is good (Romans 8:28).

That worship is powerful (2 Chronicles 20).

That God hears prayer (Jeremiah 29:12).

That young people have a purpose in the Kingdom of God (1 Timothy 4:12)!
